Sherrillynn loved and lived life the way she wanted to. She had fun, she traveled, and she made friends who truly loved her and whom she loved.
Sherrillynn was born on August 8th 1985 to Emma and Mathew Jealous of Him. She was the baby to four sibling Colleen, Mathew Jr, John and Cecelia. She was doted on by everyone, she was the last born. She attended different schools throughout her life, she attended Sherman Indian School, and then attended Nemo Job Corps where she graduated as a certified culinary student. She then attended Clearfield Job Corps because she wanted to further her study of the culinary arts. She returned home and shortly moved to Mitchell SD for two years and then moved home to Wounded Knee. She traveled to New York, Minnesota, North Dakota, Chicago, Washington, Indiana. She camped in the Colorado Rockies, Utah Desert, and the Mountains of Missoula Montana.
After losing her Father Mathew Jealous of Him Sr, she returned home to help take care of her Mother Emma and help raise her nieces and nephews. She loved her family, her mother, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and her Hunka brothers and sisters.
Sherrillynn was a beautiful soul. She never judged. She genuinely loved and cared for everyone. The proof is in her countless friends she gathered throughout her life. She will be missed forever by her family and her special friend, Wambli Red Shirt. She did for her family what nobody else would. She loved her nieces and nephews like they were her own. She was selfless and wouldn’t hesitate to give you her last if needed. She made life beautiful that way.
Sherrillynn missed her Dad everyday and now they can finally be together forever. Rest in Heaven Sherrillynn, You’re free now.
